I would run an old software which need a dongle on the LPT port. Yet On the
virtual machine (Win 98) win run under win 2000 I can't see any phisical port
(list field is empty).

Can applications be shared between the host pc and vm's without installing
the application on the vm itself?
I do think that u'd jave to install programs in the VPC itself to run them
