I would run an old software which need a dongle on the LPT port. Yet On the virtual machine (Win 98) win run under win 2000 I can't see any phisical port (list field is empty). The LPT port works on host!

Can applications be shared between the host pc and vm's without installing the application on the vm itself? I do think that u'd jave to install programs in the VPC itself to run them but just in case there's a way, i'd like to know. It would save a lot of disk
