Can see and copy files to and from the host drive through a shared folder.

For some reason, my XP Pro system does not see enough of my IBM printer
attached to a Win95 system to be able to print. This was working a few days
ago. The only recent changes were installing both Virtual PC and VMWare
Workstation.

Has anyone tried to use an IDE Travan tape drive under VPC?  I have NT
Workstation 4.0 running as a Guest OS under WinXP, but the tape drive is not
recognized by the NT system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am using VPC SP1.  My guest operating system is WinXP Pro.
I recently installed SP1 and ever since then, I haven't been able to see the
host machines NIC cards (Adapters) listed under the network settings.

Hi, simply running dos 6.22 and want to access the cd/dvd rom drive. I choose
USE PHYSICAL DRIVE D: and it is accepted. From the dos prompt there is no
drive d:. I get the Invalid drive specification error.

When i try to install win98 on vps or on vs it gives me an ,error like
"program is too big to fit in memory" and if i retry to srun setup exe it
hangss the sytem .. so at all i couldnt install win98 but i installed nt ..

Hello. I recently had to re-install Windows XP SP 2 on my main system; this
wiped out my C: hard drive. However, my Windows 2003 Virtual PC was on my D:
hard drive, so it didn't get erased. I haven't had any problems connecting
via my main system to the domain.

there is already a posting about ALT GR problems in a DOS machine. I have
not only in DOS, but also in a W2K3 machine this problems, that no ALT GR
combination is working, although the Host Key is set to CTRL. Not only VPC
2004 behaves like that, Virtual Server 2005 does also!
