I've got Linux running on a virtual machine in MS VirtualPC. I'm thinking about using Samba in Linux to exchange files back and forth between Linux and XP Pro. Anyone have any experience in this and/or know of a site that would give me the information I need to get it set up?

I installed Windows 95 in Virtual PC 5.1 (under Windows ME). No problems so far but I find an unrecognized device in Device Manager, under "Other Devices" called "PCI Bridge", with a yellow question mark in front.

Since I upgraded to VPC SP1 form VPC, my XP SP1 Guest is screwed with the characters. When I type, it begins to type characters incorrectly - wrong keys - the Virtual Machine Additions has been upgraded already (i thought that was the problem first).

Running VPC on Windows XP. Is it possible to effectively 'slow down' the CPU for a guest OS? The scenario is that I need to test software against a minimum spec (e.g. PII 400MHz) and don't have a physical machine of that age.
