In 2004 VPC my Drive 1 is called BaseDrive.  It was all part of XP
when I first installed VPC.  I can't find it anywhere.  I have
searched all my hard drives and no such thing exists but VPC work fine
with this drive.  Can anyone help be find its location?  Is it part of

I was able to get Fedora Core 3 to install using the instructions from
visualwin but I cannot get it to change to any resolution greater than
1024x768.  The default video driver was VESA.  I also tried "S3 Trio32

It has been suggested a number of times that to determine that your in a VM
check the motherboard manufacturer.  If its Microsoft it must be a VM.
Does anyone have a c code fragment to do this?
