I'm trying to install a Win98 VM and I'm stuck cause I have no way to
create a startup floppy, I downloaded the ISO of Win98 from MSDN and it's
not bootable :(
The worst part is that my machine does not have a floppy disk, so I need

Looks like VMWare Wks 5 will support isochronous USB devices (web cams,
microphones, speakers, etc).  Interesting choice.  I think I would rather
have support for mass storage devices like my USB memory stick. Yeah I know
I can get it to work using SharedFolders but then again ...

I have win XP Pro as the host OS and Win server 2003 as the guest OS. I am
unable to connect to the internet using domain names for example
www.microsoft.com. I can however connect using the IP address of the website.

hi, I'm using my ibook G4 and using Virtual PC 6.01, but my build in
soundcard from mac is not working in virtual PC, and is not work in Cubase

Access to shared folders is really slow. Very much slower than the floppy

After i have installed Windows 95 as a guest OS, the intel 21140 nic has a
yellow exclaimation point next to it.  Any ideas on how to fix this so the

I am very new to Virtual PC and need help on this issue.
I have it running on XP Pro SP2 and have installed Win 2000 Pro and 98 SE
without a glitch.
I am preparing for the MCSE and need to install Advanced Server but when I
unable to connect to 2nd virtual PC22 Dec 2004 14:03 GMT1
Have installed two virtual pc's.  Both are windows server 2003 EE.
Have VPC network setting to local in both.  1st Virtual PC  ip adr is
192.168.1.1/24 with gw of  192.168.1.1.   2nd  Virtual PC  ip adr is
192.168.1.2/24 with gw of  192.168.1.1.

I have Windows XP and installed Virtual PC (&SP1). I've installed Mandrake
Linux in the Virtual PC but the problem is that i cannot use the same IP
address for both systems. As far as i understand Virtual PC does not
interfere in the network card and mandrake has direct access, ...
