I have installed Mandrake 9.1 on my Virtual PC 2004, and I loose my keyboard in Linux when I use the Alt Gr + Enter. Is there anyone that has any Idea of what cause this problem? Thank's for the help.

I just installed VPC SP1 to address stability issues with a Win98 Guest OS. However, a CAD application (the main reason we're _running_ VPC!) on the Guest cannot find the hardware dongle on LPT1 anymore, despite it being clearly listed under the Virtual Machine's settings.

installed VPC, didn't pick up my NIC. Installed SP1 and it picked it up, installed windows 2003 server, gave the virtual NIC an ip address etc - I can ping my router - I can ping yahoo.com (the DNS is therefore working too)

Has anyone got Solaris networking to work with a recent Solaris? I have a windows workgroup with just 3pc's and a home router. It seems to want a domain server or something... any help would be great. thx -matson

Ok, this is how I understand differencing disk sizes. 1) You can't compact them. 2) Compacting impacts the actual size. 3) Compacting does very little for the NTFS compressed size or winzip

I'm just experimenting with Virtual PC and have hit a problem. I have a 250Gb drive that I would like to access from inside the Virtual PC. I've set it as a Linked Drive, but appears that the VPC does not support 48 bit LBA, as the drive only appears as 136Gb in the BIOS.
