I recently installed a Windows XP version in a virtual machine, but am unable to disable the screen saver. Both the drop down for the choices of screen savers as well as the Wait and On resume, password protect are all grayed out. Is there a way to enable these selections?

Both the host and virtual machine has been successfully assigned IP addresses from my router and both can navigate the Internet. However, they can't seem to ping each other. Is it possible to do this? If so, how do I enable this capability? I need to be able to communicate ...

I understand that you need to click Right Alt+Enter. However, I wish there was a one click solution. What would be really cool is to have a floating bar somewhere that I could click on and quickly go back to the host or any other virtual machine. Is there anyway to accomplish ...

we are running an application on virtual pc that requires us to monitor traffic on one of the nics on the host machine. I have verified that we are using the correct nic, but I do not see all the traffic on the guest nic as on the host.

I am using a DSL Modem to connect to the internet...It is a single port modem. The modem's IP address is 192.168.2.1 I have manually set my computer (Host) to 192.168.2.2 and it's gateway to 192.168.2.1
