I have gone through the newsgroups and dont see exactly what I need. And I dont see much Virtual PC info at microsoft.com/virtualpc! :( I have a windows xp pro host and 2 VM's - 1 XP pro and 1 2003 server. I want them to run local only and just see each other.

So I am having a weird problem with my VPC installs. If I terminal service into the VPC box, my mouse never works right. Any ideas?

I have downloaded the SP1 Trail and now it has been expired. And I have already bought the Virtual PC. I would like to know is it necessary for me to uninstall the trial version before I install Virtual PC 2004?

i've installed w2k3 as a guest OS in VPC in a PC with two network cards. The host OS is XP (192.168.1.150) W2k3 is the DC of a new domain with IP 192.168.25.x. I also configured it as a router to 192.168.1.x.

Has anyone tried to install Windows 3.0 under VPC? I did the install but it hangs unless I remove himem.sys and then will only run in real mode. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanx!

Is this the norm? I'm talking over 2 hours for XP PRO SP2, no joke! You can hear the CDROM stop and starting all the time and it just sits there for long periods and then mysteriously wakes up. Am I expecting too much here?

hi i downloaded a dos bootdisk image mounted it in vpc then ran the setup from my windows me cd (drive letter c: ??? maybe because i i a sata hdd) anyway the setup told me that you cannot install windows me to a ntfs partition

I've got the following problem: When I will connect to the internet with my guest XP SP1 on my main pc, no sites will be displayed. I can ping to the internet, ex. t-online.de with correct reply.
