Newbie VPC user here, trying to get it set up for the first time. The host machine is running WinXP Pro, and I'm trying to set Fedora Core 3 as the guest machine using the instructions at http://vpc.visualwin.com/Notes/FedoraCore.3.Final.html. VPC is updated to SP1.

Hi all experts, I would like to know is it possible to compress the image file? It is because my OS size (win xp) is 2.5GB in the virual pc, but the image file size is 5GB.

Virtual PC is install on C: Drive w/ XP PRO, I also have Windows 2000 PRO on my D: Drive, how do I get that to work as my Virtual Drive, is this doable with this program?, I did get 2000 to boot, but it just hangs at the white stripe after it says

Sorry, I've tried to do some reading on Virtualpc but some issues are still cloudy. First: My main reason for inerest? I have always run a multiboot (since the NT boot.ini).

Hello can anyone explain why installation of windows 2003 takes about 2 hours? A have a fast computer 3.0 GHz and 1 gb ram and it still takes about 2 hours to install windows 2003 and a use a diskett and a cd to do that normaly it takes about 1 hour
