Hi people, I am getting extremely annoyed with the problem I am having. I am following the MS Press book for 70-215. I am using Virtual PC 2004 for my network environment.

I can not get the Play/Pauze, Media, Favorites, E-mail, WWW keys on a MultiMedia keyboard to work on a Windows 98 runnning as a virtual PC 2004 on Windows XP host. When I press any of the these keys the host (XP) capture them.

There is definitely a problem with Virtual PC 2004 SP1, if the host PC goes to standby or hibernation. Until Microsoft deliver a fix for this, I have found a combination which works quite well, certainly with XP and NT as guest operating systems.

Which OS provides the best performance as the HOST OS for VP2004 SP1? WinXP SP2? Windows2000? Windows2000 Server? Windows 2003Server? etc.. Been trying to search many on virtual, but can't locate something sepcifically to this.
