I have a Cisco VPN client on my Host machine. Wondering what I need to do to get the Guest machine to connect through the VPN tunnel on the Host system (If this is even possible?) Would simplify life by far if I can.... Thanks!

In Task Manager, I can see the VPC Console but not the individual VPC processes. Most likely because they're set to 'hide from task manager'. How can either set the default to see all the processes, or to change the hidden attribute after one is running? many thanks,

ben's WW blog on ide notes the below suggestion which indeed does work to fix boot failures. But it's not the solution for my problem, I don't HAVE the original box, so is there not some other way to do it.

I have come across a problem using Shared Networking with VPC 2004 SP1 and Windows XP SP2. Before I installed WinXP SP2 on the host I was using several guest OS's over Shared Networking (to work with my VPN) with no issues.

I used on a XP workstation Virtual PC to load OS/2 applications. It works well but I would like to be able to see and to create/delete/copy files from the network and I can not. Today, I can see ONLY my local XP hard drive and not the network.

I installed VPC 2004 (w/o SP) on IBM laptop with win2K then created VM for linux mandrake 10.1 Since creating the VM the right half of the keyboards is yeiling garbage while presing the keys. The left side functions correctly.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has worked out a way to take a snapshot of a virtual pc without copying the vhd file. One would assume this is what the saved state is designed to do. IE i want to be able to install a patch then
