I have created two virtual machines each having its own virtual hard disk. When the OS was installed on the virtual machines, they used whatever the default drivers were. I have not installed device drivers separately after the OS was installed.

My environment is Win2000 pro with Virtual PC 2004. I've created a Windows 98 Virtual Machine but when I boot from a CD containinng a bootable Win98 SE the VPC show me this error message 'program too big to fit in memory'.

I installed the Virtual PC 2004 some time back. I am unable to ping the guest OS(Win/ Lin) from the host OS(XP) though i am able to ping the host OS frm the guest OS and access the web/ftp server from the guest OS.

Sorry another internet connection question, but I do not have enough knowledge to solve my problem from existing posts. I am trying to get a WinXP Pro SP2 VM Guest on my laptop to at least 'see' the internet connection on the host, also WinXP Pro SP2.

Host is XP with SP2 All is fine until I install VM and reboot. After the reboot the host loses network connectivity. If I uninstall VM the host regains network connectivity.
