When I try to start the VPC console on my machine, it takes more than 5
minutes to start. The reason for this seems to be that VPC is scanning the
harddisk for something. (Process explorer shows that VPC is opening
directories unrelated to VPC)

Dear Users,
In relation to RedHat Linux 9 installation on Virtual PC 2004 SP1, there is
no default machine settings (e.g. Windows ME, Windows XP, etc). What should I
do?

I am running Win XP on Host and Win98 on Virtual PC.
Please, would anybody post me how to do networking in step by step fashion,

I want to capture an ISO image of a windows drive and store it on a virtual
PC. Can we do that?
If yes, then how do we capture ISO image of a drive? And once we have the
ISO image of the drive can we store it a Virtual PC through option under CD

I have the Windows ME re-installation disk, and on Virtual PC 2004, I get to
the installation, and it says Windows ME cannot be installed on this machine.

satisfaction I purchased the nontrial version to install on my Windows XP

I have a machine with two instances of Win2kpro installed with multiboot
through boot.ini. Machines have separate partitions, one I run 'live', I
code and test in the second.  There's no network activity on the second
