The extra buttons on my intellipoint mouse 3.0 do not function with or
without VM Additions.  I tried to install the Intellipoint software 4.1 after
VM Additions and the mouse does not work at all.  If you look at the mouse
driver it says error code 12.  To get back to a working ...

Com ports 1 & 221 Feb 2005 23:17 GMT1
My latest project is Longhorn. Which is working beyond my expectations. But
I can't get my modem working. In all my other VPC's I assign Com 1 to my
physical Com 3, and it works fine. However in Longhorn, those ports don't
seem to be available. No com ports of LPT ports show at ...
Value?21 Feb 2005 20:41 GMT2
I already had a partition with Win98 and a partition with XP professional.  I
couldn't believe that I would have to RE-LOAD Win98 and all of my
applications.   To reload Win98,  and RE-SETUP all the old applications, it
just wasn't worth it.

Smoothwall on VPC 2004 SP1, Win XP SP2 host21 Feb 2005 14:19 GMT3
I would like to run Smoothwall firewall on VPC, but I'm wondering how
effective it would be. I thought a Linux firewal would be more secure, but if
it's running in VPC, then all traffic is still going through the Win XP
TCP/IP stack, etc.
