I'd like some comments on the advisability of this.  It's an appealing
prospect, both because of the simplicity of backup and the ability to save

I have an Inspiron 9100, on which I have been running VPC2004 with SP1 for
several months.
I recently installed some legacy software on an NT Virtual Machine that
requires access to LPT1.  Since my 9100 does not come with a parallel port, I
