I am running a Windows XP with Virtual PC 2004 installed. My workstation is
located in our company domain and the IP address is automatically given by a
DHCP server.
In Virtual PC I have a Windows 2003 Web Server Edition virtual machine

It seems fixed drives operate faster than the dynamic drives but I would

I have a DOS 6.22 VM installed, but it cannot read either of my cdrom drives.
I followed everything on the help article at

Just a question i have a T41 IBM Laptop (XP Pro - 2 GB) when ever i install
loopback adaptor on it - it looks like it blows the regular network away.That
is i am unable to get to the real network after installing the loopback .

Inorder to show a demo on VPC, I need to reset the guest os (VPC's) time.

I've installed VPC 7.01 on my Mac, and I've started to install my Windows XP.
However, at a certain point, the Windows XP Home edition software asks for
my installation disk again, then states that "setup cannot read the CD you
