I am planning to have 3 virtual machines running concurrently on one physical system and I was wondering what sort of hardware requirements I might be looking at for the host system. I will be running:

Can you create a Differencing vhd of a Differencing vhd? And if so, how many levels can you go? If you go down many levels, can you then bring a set of them back together into a merged vhd?

I exit virtual pc and choose the option "turn off" in the dialogbox and when I start it next time it's blank screen. why??

Hi All. I want to create a virtual disk of about 150gb. Virtual PC comes back and says that the largest is 130557 (or something similar). How can I get around this?

I'm sure I'm missing something here but I've been round a few times and I'm stuck. I had to copy a huge file (12 GB) into one of my Virtual PCs and even though its been deleted the VHD file is still up around 16 gig. Its not a huge problem, more of an irritation at the moment ...

I getting an error message telling I dot not have sufficient memory on the host to start the virtual machine after I add memory to my machine. I had 1 GB of ram on my PC and my virtual machine set to use 400mb, everything was working fine.

I'm running VPC for Mac under a G4 PowerBook with maxout hardware (Ram, VRam, etc.). Still, I get an error with the Kernel32.dll file. Also, Photoshop CS loads all the way and just before the blank canvas appear, and error pops closing the application.

I keep receiving this error whenever I try to shut down and save changes to my virtual pc disk. Have already read 837340 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;837340) but I have 44GB free space on the host machine.
