Sorry to bother y'all, but I can't seem to find a virtual server newsgroup anywhere, and I can't figure out how to transfer files from the host server to the guest (virtual) server. I've installed the Virtual Additions, but drag and drop support doesn't seem to work like it does ...

All, I get this message when I installed VPC The network adapter with address "00:00:00:00:00:00" of virtual machine "XPDev" failed to initialize because the address is a null address.

Anyone know why my cursor it hidden? Actually, it appears that the i-bar is white on a white background. Cosmetic, but a pain. The flashing virtical bar is fin. Just the mouse pointer. Turning off Mouse Pointer Integration fixes the issue, but it just seems

I am aware that IRIX runs on a different architecture, so it would be very difficult to emulate. But I do know that there are ways to emulate a MIPS architecture on an x86 platform. Does anyone know of a way to get IRIX 6.3 / 6.5 running on Virtual PC? Thanks in advance.

I was just beginning to install Windows 98 (1st ed) on the Virtual Machine, and it was suddenly formatting drive C: - is that normal? It was in the Virtual Machine Window, so maybe it is supposed to do that?! I just turned off the VM very quickly!

I have an Eicon C91 (X.25) network card installed in and XP SP2 m/c. I have loaded VPC 2004 with several guest OS's but none of them seem to detect the Eicon card under a VPC. The built in 10/100 Eth based card is corrrectly detected and usable.
