Can anyone tell me how to setup and connect to the internet in VPC 2004? Do we have to use the Microsoft Loopback Adapter? (I'm stand-alone, non-network) Thanks, Van

I use a Siemens Programming package called APT which is Dos Based. Whenever i use this it tends to max out the CPU Usage assigned. Any suggestions. This has been simulated on many different machines with the same result.

I've installed Windows Server 2003 as a Virtual Machine (Microsoft Virtual PC 2004). Everything is OK except it won't install the sound driver (Sound Blaster 16). It just comes up in Device Manager as "Other Device". Any attempt to install drivers for it fails. I'm running this ...

Hope someone can clear up things, I have been reading in the virtual pc newsgroup that usb, firewire are not supported under virtual pc, is this still the case. Also their is no mention of scsi, I take this is similar and isn’t

Running VPC 2004 with SP1 on XP SP2. Guest is XPSP1. Using bridged networking, not shared, and all network functions work. The guest can access network fine. However, guest cannot ping or connect to ports on Host OS. Ideas?

I have a system with multiple sound devices in the host OS. Is there anyway to get VPC to add a SB16 emulation that maps to each physical device so I can configure programs to map to different virtual interfaces most importatly headset vs speakers? I don't think this is possible ...
