I'm getting some severe errors from VPC 2004 (the dreaded "Unrecoverable processor error") and want to apply SP1. However when I try to apply SP1, I get an error message saying I don't have VPC 2004. Any hope? (BTW I'm running WinXP Pro with all the service packs.)

I wish to install a VPC connection for a Windows 98 machine. In terms of licensing, do you still require a license for a Windows 98 machine? Struggling to acquire any if you do? thanks

I was able to network from my host to on VM, but I cannot get a second VM to network. All are XP pro and belong to the same workgroup. Attempting to follow VPC's Help (\Microsoft%20Virtual%20PC\Documentation\English\vpc.chm::/vpc_howto_manage_networks_loopback_TCPIP.htm),

I have Win2k3 host on a standalone machine. I've installed VPC 2004 with Win2k3 guest on it. However, I'm unable to log in to the Win2k3 guest. What gives? Thank you.

i have a strange problem and would like your advice on whether its something i have done/can fix. i installed mandriva from a magazine dvd and discovered that even though i selected it during install gnome would not appear on the sessions menu.

Along with the sound, the window motions are very reserved and choppy. Is there a way to give more CPU time to VPC or something like that? I am running XPPro on the host (SP2) and WINNT Workstation 4 on VPC.

I have created a few (4) new VM's inside VPC Console. Each one is a different OS, WFW 3.11, Win95, Win98 and Win2K. All setup for backward testing. I want to be able to allocate a fixed IP address to them each.

I'm running WindowsXP Home as host, and VirtualPC 2004 updated with SP1. For some reason the network connection on my host stops working when VirtualPC is installed on the host or when a virtual pc session is started. I know that WindowsXP Home is not one of the supported hosts. ...
