I noticed, from searching the newsgroup, that a number of other peeple have
had this problem but none of the suggested solutions (that I could find)

When VPC is installed but not running - is there any performance
hit/memory consumption on the host OS related to VPC installation ? I
mean is there any VPC components (drivers, etc) that consume host OS
resources (cpu cycles/memory) even when VPC is not running ?

Can the virtual hard drive, undo disks, and save state files be merged
