One of the applications I installed needs a USB printer to do its job. All I see in the add printer of the Virtual PC are COM ports, LPT and File. Does virtual PC does not support USB? If it does, what am I missing? Or are there any workarounds?

I have installed Virtual Pc in a W2003 server, I have created several virtual machines, but when I'm going to start one of them, in the window of the S.O., it apears the next message (ms-dos): Reboot and Select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device.

I have used multiple tools to pre-zero unused space in VHD images (one for C: , one for D:) created for a W2K machine, but no matter which tools I use (including MS's own pre-compactor), when I go to edit the disk and eliminate unused space, the image fails to shrink.

I have tried to install it and sometimes it crashes VPC early on during the install screen other times it waits until it is 60% installing. This is very fustrating. It is very random and not sure why it is happening. I have now just tried limiting it to 256 megs of ram and ...

I use Shared Networking to allow Windows 3.11/95/NT 3.51 VM's to access the Internet. But, *no matter what machine name I put in the guest' network configurations*, I always get the machine name is already in use.

I'm trying to link to an existing hard disk and am running into a wierd problem. Can anyone help? I have a physical disk (unmounted) I'm trying to "link" to. I have gone through the wizard, but I cannot boot to it.

I have Vitrual PC 2004 installed w/ SP1. I've also installed the "VM Additions". The problem that I am getting is this: In my Windows 2003 VPC my mouse is VERY slow when moving around the screen. I use a Logitech Mx510 mouse - not sure if that has anythign to do with it.

I put VPC into full-screen mode. Now I cannot get out of full screen mode. It either does full-screen or minimizes the window. Also, when in full-screen mode, I'm unable to send a Ctrl-Alt-Del to enter username and password. How do I get VPC out of full-screen mode (back to ...
