Hi, I have installed a Windows 2003 Server virtual machine over a Windows XP host operating system. I want to create a network between both host and guest operating systems. Internet connection is not important, I would like that each operating system has its own Internet access.

How do you physically remove a VM from your host system? Is it just a matter of deleting the .vmc and .vhd files for that VM? Thanks.

Let's say I have a Windows 9x/ME guest OS and the host is running either XP or 2000. In the guest OS let's say I unknowningly get infected with the W95.CIH (Chernobyl) virus. This is the one that destroys the BIOS and data on the hard drive.

I'm trying to install XP on a Virtual PC VM but I get the error in the subject line during setup. This is a copy of XP I got from MSDN so I didn't think it would be the disk. I'm not sure if this is XP or VPC issue.

Is there anyway to link to a ramdisk the same way as a hdd or would u need it to exactly emulate a hdd by the way i have put a virtual disk on a ramdisk and i must say, it is extremely fast
