Is there any problem if we defragment the HD containing the VM ?
Besides, is it possible for us to compress the VHD file ?  Is there any tool
provided by VPC 2004 ?

I moved a differencing (child) disk to another pc and when I go into edit

I'm trying to install XP on a Virtual PC VM but I get the error in the
subject line during setup.
This is a copy of XP I got from MSDN so I didn't think it would be the disk.
I'm not sure if this is XP or VPC issue.

I get this message randomly after logging back into my XP Virtual PC:
