I have a Dell Laptop with Virtual PC installed. The laptop has Windows XP Pro with Physical Address Extension on. I go into Boot.ini and I do not see /PAE as a switch. I would like to know how to disable Physical Address Extension so I can run VPC.

Hi all, is it possible to have hibernation support in Virtual PC? I know save state is another option, but in my situation i need to use hibernation, I am clear about this. So I am wondering, anyway for me to enable hibernation for my VM?

I have Win2K3 as host with VPC 2004 SP1, installed Win2K as guest.. Everytime when I run the VM, it causes my host cannot access the network and the guest itself also cannot access network. Does anyone knows whether VPC only works with certain type of NIC?

I have created a Virtual PC. The OS is Windows XP. I have tried a VPC with SP1 and SP2. When I click on a applciation like Norton Intenet Security, it may run and may not run. If it runs, it takes around 5 minutes to open up.

I burned physical DVD+R media from downloaded ISO images of Debian 3.1. A guest machine can use the physical device, boot from it, and start the installation, but after a short time it can't read some of the files from the real DVD+RW drive.

I can't seem to install FC4 with Virtual Machine 2004 SP1. It boots, then asks what type of media contains the packages to be installed, I select CD (DVD is not an option), and it fails to find it. This is with a burned DVD. Any ideas?
