I have installed our Image and when it comes up, it freezes.  I reset and try
to open in safe mode.  It gets to mup.sys and hangs up.  I have read on
"virtual PC" guys weblog that 99% of the time it is not mup.sys.  
Does anyone know what causes the problem 99% of the time?

I have created a virtual machine for Windows 2003.  While my mouse is in the
virtual machine window, performance is not great but acceptable.  But if I
move the mouse outside of the virtual machine (by holding down the Alt key),
then performance of the vritual machine is unusable ...

i want to compact my virtual harddisk, cause Windows 2000 blows up to a huge
3GB VHD file, even it has only 1,5GB of Data on this disk.
When i start the Assistant to compact the VHD-File it tells me that i have
to "zero out" free disk space.

For some reason, everytime I try to install Win 98SE (not and upgrade) from
the Boot CD, it gets as far as "Setup is preparing to install Windows" and
nothing else happens.
Any suggestions?

I'm trying to install Windows Millennium Edition on Virtual PC 2004 SP1. I
Formatted the virtual hard disk with a FAT32 file system. The virtual hard
disk is the default 16Gb expandable disk.

my notebook, an IBM R40, has a wireless lan adapter (Intel Pro Wireless
LAN 2100 3B). It runs Win XP SP2 and it has Virtual PC installed for

This is my first attempt at using networking in VPC for file sharing (I have
done this on the past with VMware, however). I want to use networking in my
Windows 95 VM so they can access shared files on the host (Shared Networking
(NAT) is not enough for this).

Is it possible to convert VMWare virtual machines for use by VPC?

How do I get VPC to recognize a PCMCIA card?

Basically, IS the video ram size restricted to 8mb or can it be increased.  I
understand the limitation of the video card, but i am sure i came across this
before either through vpc or vmware.  I cant remeber.

I have just installed the drivers and software that came with my Agfa
1212P scanner in a Windows 2000 Professional SP3 virtual machine.

set up.  the normal C:\ Drive and then a D: Drive.  D: Drive is not being
