I have WinXP as host and a Win3.11 running in Virt PC 2004 running with the addons but the Lpt1 port is greyed out. I think XP is usiong this port for the attached laser printer. How would I get XP to release the port so that the Win3.11 can use?

I'm running on a Laptop with an Intel Centrino. It has an internal wireless adapter, which works fine from the Host. I'm running Windows XP pro (not service pack 2, corporate won't allow yet) on the host. I've installed Windows XP pro (SP2) in the VM.

I enabled Windows XP Remote Assistance in a VM, routed port 3389 that that address through my router, and sent a request to someone via email. They got the invitation, but when they tried to connect it said "the remote host name could not be resolved".

I have VPC 2004 installed with 256 MB Ram. I want to increase the size of the RAM to 512 MB. Is it possible ?. I can see a option to do so in the setting option of the VPC console, but it is disabled. Any Idea will be appreciated..
