The VPC 2004 SP1 link on the Microsoft site is not working. Does anyone know
where I can find the SP1 for VPC 2004?

I have inherited a machine that I want to see the previous users Virtual PC's
on. When I start VPC it asks me to setup the PC, but I want to see the ones
the previous user had set up. How can I access them?

I would like to use Virtual PC to create and test a configuration of small
business server 2003, before I wipe/install another HDD on  the box in
question and have it running a real version of the OS (not mounted on Virtual

No matter what I do, it keeps formatting the Virtual HD as Fat, it will not
convert to NTFS.  I gave up on that and let it use FAT, it copies over the
inital files, reboots and then goes through the setup again.

I'm running an app which requires a better display adapter than the default
S3 provided with the VPC 2004. is there anyway to replace it with a better
adapter? a 64 mb memory display adapter is enough for me.

What I'm trying to do is autoconfigure the windows recovery console process
so that I don't have to sit at the machine and type in the commands myself.

Under MSDN subscriber's download there is only VirtualPC2004, no sign of

I am running XP SP1 on my host.  I have VPC 2004 (build 582) installed.  If I
install VPC SP1 the clock on the guest PC runs extreamly slow (1 second clock
= 11 seconds real time).  The guest runs slow with OS/2, Windows or Linux.
If I have 2 VMs running then the problem gets ...
