Right I'm currently doing my 2003 MCSE and want to use Virtual PC to help

Hi,  have an issue with VirtualPC & I thougth that from all poeple you might

I'm new to virtual PC and am having trouble getting the virtual machine to
see the correct driver for the network card. The physical card is a 3Com but
the virtual PC picks it up as an Intel. Is there anything I can do - the OS

The desktop icons in the host frequently redraw when a guest PC is redrawing
the guest's screen. It can slow down the guest's respone. The problem is
solved if I change Display Property>Trouble Shooting>Hardware Accelerator to
the third from the left in the host.

Hello. I am trying to do something completely useless: Running Windows
1.0, Windows 2.0, and very old versions of DOS.  Windows 1.0 actually
managed to load and run, but its screen is barely intelligible and
distorted.  Windows 2.0 won't load.  DOS 3.0 loads, but when I try to

I installed Fedora Core in a VirtualPC box on an XP-Pro with 1 gig
RAM.

Let me call them "NIC#1" and "NIC#2".
I would like to make a router and/or a firewall with VPC 2004 and those 2
NIC's, using a Linux VM. For this I would use a VM with 2 virtual network

On my VPC I use "Shared Networking" and I'm able to connect to the internet.
But if I start a VPN connection on the host, I can no more connect to the
internet from the VPC.
