I'd like to know if any one is using VPC with new Celeron M? Some problems?
What about speed? There are many posts about Pentium M and very slow "guest
OS" on hosts with this one. Celeron M does not have SpeedStep technology, in
my opinion it could be better choice then Pentium M ...

In VPC 2004 SP1, I can't capture the physical CD-ROM drive: the option
"Capture Physical Drive D:" doesn't appear in the CD-ROM menu.
Host: Windows XP SP2.

I'm trying to install Windows XP as a guest operating system under MS
Virtual PC 2004.  I want the guest OS to run at 1600x1200, but, I'm
trying to do this without installing the "additions" pack.
Unfortunately, the Additions pack changes the VM in certain, other ways

I do a lot of testing with MS Virtual Server but I'd also like to use the
sound card functionality of Virtual PC. Can you run both Virtual Server and

It appears that while VPC shared folders (set from the VPC console) look like
a mapped network drive (aka NET command), it's implementations is different.  
Tickled this when trying to open an Outlook 2003 PST file via a shared folder
it errors out.  But if I use the NET command ...

Does anyone know why XP with SP2 slipstreamed installs REALLY slowly?
I did a test yesterday and XP with SP1a slipstreamed installs in 40
minutes whereas XP with SP2 slipstream installs in around 2 hours.
Host PC spec is 2.66 Ghz P4 with 1GB RAM.

I am running the lastest version of virtual PC and here is my problem.  
After an unidetified period of time ( from 1 week to one month) the virtual
