Error in VPC with SQL Server 2000 restore on secondary disk16 Nov 2005 18:25 GMT3
I get the following error when I tries to restore a database with SQL Server
2000 When I restore to a VPC harddisk 2 (secondary disk)
"BackupFileDesc::VerifyCreatability: Operating system error 32"
If I use the first disk there is no problem so it is only when I use a

has there been any word on a new version of virtual pc or at leasst an
update? the 2.2gb limit on mounted images would be a great fix (and maybe
adding true snapshots instead of the differencing).

I am running VPC 2004, SP1 on a Win XP Pro SP2 host.  Win 95 is the guest.  
Ever since I upgraded to VPC SP1, I have been getting strange results when I
try to drag and drop files from the Guest to the Host, a

I have installed Virtual PC and can capture my DVD-ROM drive when I have a
CD-ROM inserted.  When I put a DVD in it, however, it seems to choke.  It
asks me to "Please insert a disk into drive D:".  I can read the same DVD
from Windows Explorer in my main computer with no problem ...
