My base system is running of Dell Inspiron laptop with WinXP Pro SP2
(Broadcom NIC) with Virtual PC SP1. I have Win2k Pro running in Virtual PC
with a router assigned static IP, I have installed the latest VM Addtions.

I backup my WindowsXP PC using Disk Image 7 and then restore it under new
Virtual Machine. It doesn't work. Question can I do it? What I want to  
achive to convert my current old machine to VPC. Is it possible?

In my host PC (windows XP), I installed a virtual PC 2004.
Then, I intalled windows 2003 virtual PC and deploy a web site in it.
I want to just my host PC can visit the windows 2003's IIS service.
I know, sharing the phisical adapter can get this goal but this windows 2003

I tried to update my Virtual PC 2004 Trial (45-day edition) to SP1, by
downloading the SP1. However, it seems that it won't work? How exactly do I
update my VPC to SP1?

Behaviour: Sometimes the repeat function doesn't work, sometimes the repeat

VPC Windwos NT 4.0 Workstation
virtual network

Is it possible to have Virtual PC (with 1 virtual machine configured) to
start automatically when the host machine starts (with no session opened on
the host machine) ?
If yes, please tell me how ?

i need to manually install virtual pc additions. i know i need to run the set
up program in cd-rom drive but the cd-rom is in the host. wont running it
mess up my virtual pc or should i uninstall virtual before using set up?
wizard wont work.

Installing and using NAV on VPC (not the Mac version, which I've seen in
previous threads has issues) is glacially slow, at least an order of
magnitude slower than anything else you could possible do in VPC. It's
unusable.

Is it possible to capture an ISO image of a DVD over 2GB or so.  When I have
tried with voth VS 2005 prof and SQL Sever 2005 developer, virtual PC told me
there was a problem with the ISO image.  When  written to a DVD the image was
ok!

I'm trying to install from the fedora core ISO's downloaded off the fedora
core website, when i try to install the fedora core OS i get an "Improper
boot device" error, I have the iso captured during start up ...

After applying the hotfix to solve the problem with German Keybaord after
applying SP1 to VPC (  @,\, etc. not available without hotfix), my virtual
DOS-app (PowerBasic) shows strange behaviour. It can not read any more from
physical COM-port, does not find any input characters. ...

Will it work?  Are there any complications?  If it works, how about
taking the saved disk image from VPC 2004 and running it back on
VPC7/mac?  Does it work in both directions?  I sure hope so...
