Question to MS experts My app accesses the hardware a lot and uses device drivers or Dll's for that. I use int 70h, 10h, 15h, 16h, 1Ch, 33h, and others. I also use int 1Ah for PCI interface.

I want to take the virtual image of my PC and then run this on a laptop using VPC 2004. Is this possible. I don't want to start installing all the software on virtual machine.

I have got a weird question! I have programs for PC that runs only from CD. On my PC things are really easy. I mount them as images and the trick works pretty well. Now the problem is that I have got many people here that has got Mac.

I have loaded Vista Beta 2 in a Virtual PC and I can not get the video to display properly. In my video display settings it has it running at 4 bit and that is my only option. Anyone know how to get it greater then that? Seems to me that I had more options in the beta 1 release ...

VMware Workstation 5 includes experimental support for Direct3D video acceleration. It is not fully functional up to date, but it works noticeably faster than pure software emulation. Will future versions of Microsoft VPC support Direct3D?

Just curious, do you get the same compaction performance using the built-in ISO image pre-compactor tool that ships with Virtual PC as you do when using an outside zeroing program like Eraser? Anyone have thoughts one way or the other?

My shift or control keys get stuck 'down' every half a minute rendering VPC pretty useless. I'm running Win2K with the latest service packs and VPC v5.3.582.27. Is there a fix for this?

I am trying to install VirtualPC on a WIndows XP SP2 computer (fully patched through windows update). The Setup.exe tells me my InstallScript Engine is too old for that installation.
