There is no network card in the host machine.  If I would like to assign a
NIC to the guest OS, can I choose "Internal Network" ?
Or I have to add a loopback adaptor on my host machine (Windows XP) so that
the Guest OS can see the virtual NIC ?

Documentation reads... "virtual PC does not support USB devices that require
their own drivers" so a 'normal' usb mouse and keyboard that came with the

I've got XP Pro installed in a Virtual PC (2004 version) and I'm doing (or
trying to do) managed directx game development in VS2005 Beta 2.  I've ported
my app over from VS2003 but Direct3d won't initialize.  The DirectX
diagnostic tool tells me that Direct3d is not available.

I wanted to know if there is a setting for the email notification to ReOccur
every five minutes or whatever.   I know how to set it to change the theme,  
but want to know if there is an option somewhere,  so that it reoccurs every
so often if you don't hear it the first time.

Just downloaded several documents from the MS virtual pc home site and a
little confused by some of it.
