I have a Windows 98 SE virtual machine that works just fine.  However, when I
add a second drive to the VM, it hangs for a while (20-30 minutes) during the
boot.
The second drive I created using the vitual disk wizard, setting it to a

I posted earlier this year with "Virtual PC Freezes when host
disconnected from network". Bill Grant (thanks for the response)
suggested installing a loopback adapter. Which unfortunately didn't
resolve the issue.

I have problems getting a new guest system boot with Ghost trying to test

I am running Virtual PC under XP. I would like to know if anybody has had
experience of running Windows 2003 Server as a Client O/S under Virtual PC. I
have seen it done but it does not appear to be "officially" supported.

I installed os2warp on virtualpc.
I tried to enable parallel port but didn't work.
Do someone know why ?

I am unable to get a ping reply from my virtual PC to my host PC and another
3rd party device on the network.  My host PC and 3rd party device can see
each other and they can ping the virtual PC address.
I have tried both static and DHCP addressing with the same results.

Hello, after extensive tests I have come to realize that VPC (2004 SP1) have
certain bugs concerning SB16 emulation.

Virtual PC problem with LPT1 port.  The physical address is not in our
drop-down list for physical ports.
The LPT1/Parallel port is enabled in the system BIOS and is useable in my

I have a G5 1.6Ghz Mac running OS X Tiger 4.2, I installed VPC 7.01 and
when I bought it I got it as a standalone, and being so ignorant of

I have a Danish XP, on my Virtual PC, and today I have installed the new
"Patch" via AutoUpdate, and now my "Virtual pc" image , continues to Reboot.
I can see a "Blue" screen 1000 of a Secund, but I can not read it ;)
Is it only me who have this problem ?

and my folder options is set to 'Simple File Sharing' which is usually all I
