1.. Where can I find more information on Virtual PC?

I'm running VPC 7 and after no problems or new installs yesterday, but today
I get this message when I start it up:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<Windows root>\system32\hal.dll

Is there a way to expand a fixed .vhd after creating it?  I wanted to create
a base .vhd and then copy it for my other virtual machines, but I might need
it to be bigger than the base copy.

I have a usb scanner 1.1, I need to activated it on VPS 2004. Please

I'd like to know if there is a way to measure a VPC performance in terms of
the VPC image size against the RAM size of the machine. For example, if you
are working on a 1Gig of RAM, is there a limit on the size of the VPC image
for you to work with optimal speed?

I have problems with running virtual pc under dell inspiron 9400.
1. Big letency on mouse click responde to file explorer
2. virtual pc crash with blue screen
3. files and folders are misplaced on mouse click or drag and drop operation

Hi all, i am on a college network and we are doing a section of coursework
about configuring an OS and so are using VP,
we have installed programs and keep losing data, the administrators of the
network when setup have made it so that it loses data, is there an easier way

Are modems, either internal or external, recognized in VPC?  Prefably in xp
or w2k.
