when i try to copy a 5.5 GB file from a shared folder to local disk (vhd)
after a half the copy fails with I/O device error.
when copying the same file over the network it succeeds.

I am trying to install win98se onto my laptop using virtual pc. The
installation proceeds normally untill all the files have been copied and the
system then does a restart. It then goes back to the beginning and doesn't
restart. The only option is to start the process again!!

if my acrobat reader was open with a document whoen, and i close the virtual
machine to saved state, when i resu,e from saved state the acrobat reader
many times starts to consume high CPU.

I installed VPC with SP1 on my pc.  My pc has xp pro with sp2, 2 gb ram, and
40 gb hard drive with 15.8 Gb free space after installing VPC and attempting
to install xp.  it is a pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz.
VPC installed fine.  I am trying to install xp pro and it installs all the

Trying to install VPC & SP1, and got a BSOD at the end of the SP1 install.  
After rebooting, I got the prompt that a system crash was found.  I allowed
it to send the dump to MS, but then got another BSOD.  After the second
reboot, it found the dump again, but I did not allow it ...

I am using Virtual PC 2004 image and am trying to perform a test install in
it but the install is going very slow. A normal install in my laptop takes
about 20 minutes but its taking about 3 hours in Virtual PC Image....when I
look into the task manager of the image, it shows CPU ...

I downloaded Microsoft Virtual PC trail version. I set up Win98 SE as the OS.
However it does not recgonize or capture my usb ports. Am I missing anyting.
Is there a way to fix this problem.
