Hello, I was wondering if I can mount the root hard-drive as a drive in
Virtual PC. I need to be able to access its files from within the operating
system that's being run by VPC but I cannot figure out how to do this.

Having installed Virt pc on trial, dos 6.22 win3.11 I find the CPU is 100%
and the application hangs, pity as it does what I want in 3.11. Anyway some
threads suggest SP1 or VM additions (is VM additions within SP1?) so I try to
install SP1 - it wont proceed, as the pop up box ...

Can some one give me a clue on installing DOS 6.22 into a DOS Virtual
Machine?  Everything goes fine until I get the message to insert Disk  2.  
The process gets hung at that spot.  I've tried two seperate sets of DOS
disks and can't seem to get past the Load Disk 2 message.  I ...

I am having trouble installing Solaris 9 on VPC 2004. It seems to be hanging
when it asks about the Hard Drive.
Has anyone successfully installed Solaris 9 or any other version of it?

I have VPC 2004 (not server) and I currently have my Virtual Machines set
up to network peer-to-peer with my home networked Real Machines.  I only
have this done so I can learn (for school) how to make settings in the
different OSes for networking and this was the easiest way for me ...

Can I run Linux on VPC7 on my G5?
If so, what would be the best version, SuSe Linux 10, YellowDog, etc.

I tried to install a MSDOS 6.2 on VirtualPC with dynamic virtual HD. After
inserting the first disc, DOS tried to format the virtual HD. The progressbar
is fixed at 0% and thats all. There isno further progress...

So I set a win95 profile, get a dos 6.22 floppy, load it, fdisk c, set it
