A basic question but it is doing my head in...
My mouse is stuck inthe virtual PC window and i have to hit the right alt
key to un focus the window, also the desktop is not resizing to the size of
the window as it does in other virtual PCs.

     I have install virtualpc 2004 on my XP-Professional pc. After
this i create virtual machine and install windows 2000 professinal as
guest os. But i can not install Fedora core-2 or 4 on a new Virtual
machine,

i have been creating virtual disk images and they are defaulting to 16gb.
is there any way to change the size of a fixed-disk, or to change the
default size, so that when I create a new one, it will be the required size?

I tried to use Windows Explorer to copy a directory in one of my guest
VMs to a drive that I had mapped using VM Additions, and I got a popup
saying that the drive doesn't support long filenames, and offered to
copy the file with a truncated (8.3 format) filename.  The host is on

my host machine is a pentium D 2.8 (dual core/hyper threading)
the guest is showing only a pentium D2.8 without the hyper threading
feature.
is there some performance impact on the host or the guest with pentiumD ?

I installed MS-DOS 6.22 + Windows 3.11 in Virtual PC and got the network
configured.
Seems to be working perfectly, but I'm getting a lot of "Invalid

I was trying to install Longhorn inside VPC 2004 SP1.
After inserting the cd, and mounting it, then rebooting, VPC boots from the
CD.
After a short while, I get the following error:

With the advent of WinFX it seems that having a better graphics card

     I have a vitual machinne virtual pc 2004 on winddows xp
-professional which running Redhat Enterprise Linux. When i open
virtualpc 2004 on Xp desktop  It opens redhat Linux in a termainal then
i can easily log on redhat linux pc.
