I am currently taking a class and received VPC and a copy of Vista (Longhorn)
Beta 1 from my instructor.  I cannot seem to get it to install in VPC.  For
some reason, my DVD reader on secondary master (G) will not read the DVD.  It
reads all other DVDs, just not the Vista Beta.  ...

I upgraded a win2000server to win2003.
Everything installed perfectly, keyboard is working, but there's no response
at all from the mouse anymore.
In the previous win2000 installation the pointer worked fine.

I bought a copy of Virtual PC 2004 from someone.  He said it was never used,
although the box was opened and not given to me, and the CD had a permanent
marker writing on it.  Maybe he put his initials on it, crossed it out, but
never actually installed it.  I can't tell for sure ...

I have a pc with a 260 GB SATA-disc.
When i create a vitrual pc its only 16 GB. Using virtual disk wizard just
give me an option of dynamic size. I want the hard disc to be 200 GB. How to
do - where do I set the size of the disc ?

Have just installed Microsoft VM on my new acer 3000 laptop and installed
some pre-created virtual machines. Problem is that the keyboard strokes churn

Once I create my Virtual PC and add the Virtual Hard Drive I place my Windows
XP Pro disk in my CDROM and start the virtual PC. It refuses to boot off of
it. My physical PC can use it but my virtual pc will not.
I have SP1 and installed everything properly.

Since Virtual Server 2005 R2 was released a couple of months ago, isn't
there a Virtual PC 2004 SP2 (or R2) coming out as well with updated

Suddenly, half way through the day today, ALL FIVE of my VPCs give me this
error when I try to start them. They've all been working fine for months. Any
ideas?
