I have these questions about Virtual PC.
1.- can be istalled on a clean HDD?
2.- can I install ANY OS system? like Linux or a Novell server
3.- exist problems with performance degradation? speed, graphics,etc.

gurus out there include the Virtual Machine Additions in that image or do
you leave it out?

When I use a DOS program, like Master Of Orion II, the screen changes size,
and the mouse is out of synch.
I am unable to use the whole screen due to this problem. When I move the
mouse, it moves at a different speed. Going Full Screen does not help.

I have an issue installing Virtual PC SP1, Virtual PC itself installs fine,
but when I attemp to install SP1, I get an error indicating "Another version
of this software is already installed ....."

I am confused by the KB899525 which solves the repeating keys problem in VPC
2004 SP1.  I Called Microsoft and downloaded the VPC 2004 hotfix as
reference by the following KB article:

In our development shop, we are using VPC as the development environment.  
Each user has XP Pro SP2 as the host and XP Pro SP2 as the guest.  We have
made sure that everyone has a different mac address in the .vmc file.

In OS/2, my Java program referencing "localhost" does not work.  I tried to

on Virtual PC version 5.3.582.27.
My machine has 1GB RAM allocated 400MB to the Virtual PC, 8GB Virtual HDD.

I installed Win XP on my VPC and when logging into the local machine it loads
extremely fast but when I try to log into my office Network it is dog slow.

I created a virtual server 2003 as a DC and joined an Virtual xp pc to
it.  I can ping the server from the workstation.  The server can get to
the internet.  However the workstation cannot access the internet.  It
cannot ping the gateway.  It is resolving DNS.

download information to my Timex data link watch. I check the USB box;
the box indicating that the program sees the watch, and then "OK."
