Does anyone have any information on multiple VPC performance on specific
hardware? Basically I have a limited use business app that runs fine on an

I have created a three virtual pcs. I have two questions:
1. Can I use Mocrosoft Virtual PC to create a virtual network?
2. If question 1. is Yes then, How do I create the virtual network for my
virtual pcs?

I would like to enable EMS memory to run an application under MS Virtual PC
2004. Anyone know how to do this?
I if type "mem" command at dos prompt, i just can see XMS memory enabled...

I am having a problem with my CD-ROM inside Virtual PC 2004 whenever the
host OS is a regular user.  If I am administrator in the host OS, then
everything is fine, but if I am a regular user, then the CD-ROM in VPC
malfunctions.  For one IBM ThinkPad T30 laptop, I have English ...

Is it possible to install any sort of Virtual PC "player" on an XP desktop
and "play" a virtual machine without rebooting the host similar to VMWare's
player?

Is there some way to move the "My Virtual Machines" or just specify somewhere
else to put the vmc and saved state files?
By default they are stored in the My Documents which in our environment is
on the network.  Not good for performance.

If you look at the features not installed by deafult, Subsystem for
Unix-based programs is one such feature.
What is in this subsystem?

We use VPC to virtualise all of our supported client OS's for developent
purposes. SCO Unix is the sole environment we can't install in VPC.
I know that this is because the brain-dead SCO install probes the hd in
wierd and non-wonderful ways to determine if they're MFM/RLL devices ...

I just recieved an external hard drive and started creating my demo vpcs. I
did not check the fileformat of the hard drive, which of course was formatted
in FAT32 so virtual pc split my vhd file over 5 v0x files.
I would like to merge these file back to 1 single VHD file, but up ...

I have a dynamic-size Virtual PC disk of 4.5 Gb.
It's almost full, and when I try to copy a large file I'm told it can't
take it because it's full,  despite being supposedly automatically
resizable

I connect to a WinXP PC using rdp and try to use a suse10 desktop running in
virtual PC2004/sp1. I have almost no control of the mousepointer - no
problem using the keyboard.

I am running XP pro on host, and same on guest.  I have installed the

Using full screen mode, every time I stop-start the guest WinXP, it re-boots
