1. Can I use Mocrosoft Virtual PC to create a virtual network?

Is it possible to install any sort of Virtual PC "player" on an XP desktop
and "play" a virtual machine without rebooting the host similar to VMWare's
player?

Is there some way to move the "My Virtual Machines" or just specify somewhere
else to put the vmc and saved state files?
By default they are stored in the My Documents which in our environment is
on the network.  Not good for performance.

We use VPC to virtualise all of our supported client OS's for developent
purposes. SCO Unix is the sole environment we can't install in VPC.
I know that this is because the brain-dead SCO install probes the hd in
wierd and non-wonderful ways to determine if they're MFM/RLL devices ...

I have a dynamic-size Virtual PC disk of 4.5 Gb.
It's almost full, and when I try to copy a large file I'm told it can't
take it because it's full,  despite being supposedly automatically

I connect to a WinXP PC using rdp and try to use a suse10 desktop running in
virtual PC2004/sp1. I have almost no control of the mousepointer - no
problem using the keyboard.

I am running XP pro on host, and same on guest.  I have installed the
parallel drivers for the HP scanner all seemed ok.  When you hit the scan
button, the software on gust pc says there is no scanner attatched.

Using full screen mode, every time I stop-start the guest WinXP, it re-boots
into 640x480 mode.
I am trying to use 1280x1024 for the guest. Native resolution for host is
1400x1200.
