I have a Dell M70, have installed last summer's version of Vista but killed
the vmc and vhd because it's was pretty far off.  So, yesterday I got a Feb
release and tried to install it but it's asking for a "Driver" for my hard
disk.  Where / what do I do about this?

I have setup a virtual domain on via Virtual PC 2004.  It consists of 1
DC that is server2003 1 member server (server2003) and two xp
workstations.  For sake of argument I will call this domain X.  The

Neither Virtual Machine Wizard or Virtual Disk Wizard launch from
Virtual PC Console. I see them in the task bar but nothing opens.

From what sources is one allowed to obtain VPC? Comes with certain levels of
MSDN and I guess you can buy per copy. Is VPC available for use under any
other circumstances? Thanks, Dave

I'd like to run VPC on a 'server' and let thin-client users access
simultaneous XP VMs.  Conceptually, Server2003 accepting separate terminal
connections to each VM seems like the right hostOS, but Server2003 is not a
support VPC host.  Can XP or 2000 accept multiple incoming ...

I have a Powermac G5 Quad, which has 2 ethernet ports.  I have Virtual
PC v7.  I have
2 different internet connections, each with it's own Linksys router.
What I'm wanting to do is have the Mac on one IP, and VPC on the other.

Now that Microsoft is providing Virtual Server 2005 for free, is there any
reason to switch to that product from VPC2004?  If so, can anyone tell me if
it supports Linux?

I have an image created on my local hard drive (laptop with battery).
The settings and undo disk are on a network drive.  The power went out
in our office and the virtual blue-screened.  I closed the virtual and
deleted the changes.

I have the Additions for VPC 2004 installed but cannot resize from a
fairly small fixed window.  If I choose full screen, I get the same
size window centered on the computer screen and the rest of the host
