I'm running Virtual PC under Vista and when I first started in on this it
was actually working rather well, but since original install of Win2003
server in VPC performance has degraded horrifically to the point where just
booting up takes half and hour.

I must be missing something.  I am using a VPc guest as a development box to

When I try to install Windows 98 on Virtual PC 2004, setup fails
because it says I don't have 16MB of RAM.
I have tried assigning different values to this virtual instance (64,

running win xp pro tried to install vista 32 bit in vpc starts out well but
after product key is typed in get error can not read windows image file

I have a virtual hard disk on 7,5 GB.
It contains only 3,2 GB data.
I have tried to compact it, but it does not help   :-(

I've installed DOS and got Mechwarrior2 working nicely in VPC, but after 2
or 3 minutes into any mission, the sound cuts out completely.
I've installed the Creative SB16 drivers and it hasn't made any difference.  
Any one run into the same problem or know how to fix it?

I have installed Virtual PC on windows XP. and just starts using it. If i try
to start any operating system in it, after the first screen its showing error
