On Dell Dimension 3100, which comes without a parallel port, I installed a PCI parallel port. In XP, the printer works fine, but in Virtual PC, the ‘physical parallel port ’ is empty. It should say LPT1. It does not. I cannot print. HELP

Created .vhd file using Connectix Virtual PC 5.2. It seems to only create a .vhd file not a .vmc file. Virtual PC 2004 is only looking for a .vmc file. Any suggestions Chris C.

I've got the download of Vista as a DVD ISO image, but Virtual PC refuses to mount it... Tells me it's not a valid VD image. Do I really have to cut it to DVD, or is there a trick to getting the ISO recognised? Thanks

I have created a Virtual PC with DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 OS and installed the DOS additions for SP1 to enable EMM386.EXE to be loaded in the CONFIG.SYS file. This seems to work OK when I use the simple command:

We are thinking about deploying Virtual PC within our company and I was wondering how many connections (OS') could be open simultaneously on a single host pc? I wasn't sure if it was limited to a certain number or just as many as the host could handle.
