I am a newbie to VPC, so bare with me!
I would like to install a domain controller, 2003 Server (for file sharing)
and 2 XP Clients to interact like a real network.  Can this be acheived, or
would i be better off using "real machines"?

I'm having problem that's driving me crazy...
I'm working at home running Windos XP SP2 on my toshiba laptop and use a
home router/DHCPserver to connect to internet.
New VPC 2004 SP1 install - no network02 Jun 2006 21:20 GMT1
We had a strange problem today in our lab.  One of the guys that I work
with did a fresh installation of Win2K Server SP4 on a Dell rack server
(not sure of the number).  He then installed VPC 2004 SP1, and proceeded
to create a new guest host, on which he then installed Win2K ...
a read disk error occurred and Virtual PC 7 for Mac02 Jun 2006 17:01 GMT2
This morning I booted up Virtual PC 7 on my Dual Core G5 and got the
error
"a read disk error occurred"
Rebooting Virtual PC does not work.

I cannot captue the mouse and the only time I was able to capture the mouse
was when I resinstaller the os on the Virtual machine. I have set the mouse
to no integration but I still cannot cpature the mouse.

I do not understand if I can use my registered copy of Windows XP in Virtual
PC or if I have to buy a new copy to be able to use it. Will Microsoft allow
me to use the same product ID on my physical PC and on my virtual?

I have to run some training and tests on products that run on top of
Win2003/Exchange 2003. I want to have several copies of the same VPC running
on separate host PCS that are connected in the same network and avoid
conflicts of each one seeing each other. Let me explain in more ...
