VHD linked to hard disk?28 Jul 2006 19:52 GMT2
Has anyone had any success linking a VHD to a physical hard disk?  I bought
a new 160GB SATA hard drive, and at first, VirtualPC just locked up and quit
when trying to access it.  Now that I initialized and formatted the new
drive, rebooted the host, and patched VPCSP1, it will ...

Using Virtual PC 2004, can I install NT4 SP6a as a guest O.S. and make use of

I've installed VPC on Vista beta 2.
In the settings on my virtual machine, under LPT1, when I check "Physical
parallel port", the drop down list lists no port.
Nothing is connected to the parallel port. It's an on-board parallel port,

I have 12 Windows XP PC's that I would like to replace with 12 Virtual PC's.

know if Virtual PC could do this task?
It does not say, so I assume it may not work.   Can virtual PC be installed
