I'm interested in using Virtual PC for testing and understand, from searching through older posts in this forum, that I would need 1 + n separate WinXP licenses: 1 for the host OS and one each for n VMs. Is this still the case?

Does antivirus / antispyware software on host PC prevent installation of viruses/spyware in the virtual PC? For eg., if I do a complete scan of my physical hard-drive using McAfee Antivirus - can it see a virus on the VirtualPC's hard-drive?
