i am using vs.net 2003 in a virtual pc image-environment. each time i want

I have a  laptop [Dell Inspiron 9400 (Core Duo), 2GB memory] which runs VPC
2004. As soon as I install VPC SP1 - my keyboard response is slow, the mouse

My first time with a VPC and my first time in this NG.
I downloaded and installed it and set up a Virtual Machine. It is running
under Win 2000.
Now I'm stuck.

I Downloaded the 2114 driver for dos and I get the error Could not Open
Protocol Manager when I try to load it in my config.sys.  I am using FreeDOS.
Anyone have a working driver and config.sys setup?
