I have tried running SUN Solaris 10 2006-06 in VPC.
It always halts at CPU detection ( kernel loaded with verbose flag to see

Stumbled on this newsgroup by sheer luck. Looking to tap into the the

Windows 2000 downloads all necessary updates but Windows 98SE fails.

Hello people,
Since I upgraded my Virtual PC 2004 to SP1, this has become pretty unstable.
I have an environment with some 15 different Virtual disks, containing W98, W
XP, W 2003 and even W MCP. They all ran smoothly under my previous Virtual PC

I downloaded VPC soon after it was released for free. I installed it
recently, and just installed the Laptop hotfix that is present in a
sub-folder.
I just downloaded and attempted to install VPC 2004 SP1, but received an

I know the above is not supported but was thinking this would be the best
place to find someone with even a smidgen of experience in the matter - if I
