i'm trying to load WinXP SP2 as my first guest OS on VPC SP1 and it is dog
slow copying installation files to a local disk.
I've set performance options so all VPCs get same slice and VPC is supposed
to run at maximum speed

I'm running XP-SP2 as my host machine. VPC is installed and the client
session is loaded  with XP-SP2 as well.

Wouldn't it be great to have a version of virtualpc that works without instal?
You could take it to work on an usb and use your own version of windows.

I've figured out my previous bug but can't get this operating system to work.
Now the latest one is that I installed Windows NT.  To log onto windows NT
you must push CTRL, ALT & Delete to be able to insert your user name and
password.  When you do that, you get out of virtual PC. ...

Been checking out Virtual Pc 2004 (the free one recently released) with
success installing 98SE, 2000 and Knoppix.
As Knoppix is running using an iso file I decided I'd try a "fuller, real"
installation. I'm dialup so instead of downloading something I had the

I download the Office2007 Beta from the MSDN site and burned a DVD. THe CRC
check of the ISO and the DVD are a match. In a VPC session (cotaining
WindowsXP Professional) I atteampted to install the software from the DVD.  
After entering the Product code I get an error mesage ...

Every since the GUI finished installing XP PRO on my VPC, it will no show
anything when windowed.  Usually, it will be a completely blank screen even
if I go full screen.  Occasionally there will be some viewable screen portion
in full screen.

do? e.g primary NIC for regular domain stations on 192.123.123.0 and virtual
